Another beautiful and rather straightforward axe in the game is the Corrupted Axe, which drops from one of the most difficult bosses in the game.
It also has the same stats as the previous two axes except it can be harder or easier to acquire depending on how many Skeleton Keys a player has in stock.
Many players might recognize this axe - it's in the name. Another good axe that can be acquired from the Legendary Chests is the Battle-axe of the Berserkers and it's quite a handful. It would seem that this axe should have been named the Axe of the Berserker instead as the stats are more focused on aggressive characters. While other axes are fixated on mass slaying, Glimmermoon insists on having other uses and branching out to utility. The Axe of the Gate Guardian might not have the same utility as the Glimmermoon but it has the same damage and also another useful stat increase. Thankfully for most players, the most powerful axe in the game isn't acquired through random lottery or monster drops.
